What I noticed first about the casino bomb in both is the similarity to the woman in the casino looking at the penny and the man in Boom looking at the ticking case.  Then both caught in the blast.

On the bomb built by Grissom, it looked to be the exact same area that he and Sara used to measure explosion distances.  Many similarities and good pick-up on it, S-P.

Two questions--anyone know how Petersen got the scar on his left arm? (Glimpse it in Crate N Burial after he and Sara dig the woman up)

Was Terri Miller supposed to be a regular? Semi-regular?

And a comment: Watching "Boom" and Sara and Grissom make bombs to blow up--it was so similar to what happened in the finale when Grissom made a bomb! While watching the finale, I didn't think about "Boom" but it was almost a mirror replay!

Have any of you been watching the reruns of the episodes mentioned?  If so, please start a discussion and let's see if we can get up some interest again.  They sure used to be fun and interesting and I'm sure could be again.

11AM and "Blood Drops" on--it's amazing what we learned back in 2000. AND it's amazing what little things I notice now!! Their faces were so expressive back in season 1.

Happy to see reruns being broadcast on so many stations.  Only one I get is USA and although Turn of the Screw is one of my favorite episodes, I'm sure that at 5AM I will still be in the land of nod under a mountain of blankets.  Baby, it's cold outside!

Starts Wednesday, January 3--season 1 beginning at 5AM (Central) and repeats later in the day. I think 9-10 episodes will be shown.

On Thursday, SYFY will have the last Grissom episodes in the morning with "One to Go" at 9AM

On Friday, ION will show CSI beginning at 10AM (Season 4 or 5, I think)

On Monday, USA will begin CSI at 5AM (Turn of the Screws) and run episodes for several hours.

I watch Macgyver just for George--and several weeks ago, he jumped from a tree and made a Tarzan yell!! Just made me giggle!

Great idea!! And OXGN begins with the pilot at 5AM tomorrow (Wednesday 1/3) and runs all day with season 1!

(AND since we are having extreme cold weather for this area, I don't have to work for 2 more days!! YAY!!)

Just want to wish everyone a Happy and Healthy New Year!  I know we all wish the same for our beloved stars from CSI.  Life moves on - Billy's children are growing up, George got divorced?, Don't know what Jorja is up to.  Anyone know?  I still enjoy each and every episode up to a point. (The Fishburne point). Maybe we should start a conversation about the shows again, from the beginning.  New year, new observations! Every time a see a show, I see something I missed before, even though I've probably watched some of them at least a hundred times! Did we ever count how many shows have butterflies? Or note when we first suspected GSR? There has to be something to keep us busy and connected in this new year!! Love to you all!

Thanks for posting, Mirr.  Very interesting and nice to hear about George again.
