He looks very good and in spite of it being called a comedy, it looks pretty serious if the action we see in a couple of the photos is typical.  Seems like a short run; don't remember whether his other plays were the same.

Was it my imagination or does he look somewhat better in the photo than the last time we saw him?  Hope he's gotten himself straightened out is doing well.

I agree, that's a really odd thing to say as an actor. He seems dishonest to me, quite frankly. And bitter.

Odd statement for him to make as an actor.  Isn't it usually the applause for a job well done that is an actor's greatest reward?  Sure the money is fine but I would think the ego would be better affirmed by the audience.  Can't see how learning the lines and rehearsing can be a big kick.  As for doing TV, it seems to me he's said the same thing before and that's odd, too, since he's not acting in front of an audience when the scenes are filmed.  He should like that better.

Interesting....

http://www.chicagotribune.com/entertainment/theater/ct-ott-william-petersen-jones-1103-story.html

It bothers me that he dismisses his television work in such a negative way. The "form" is what gave him the means to do what he's doing now!! Doesn't he recognize this?

" To commit to something in TV or film, it has to be something that I really feel like I could do or that really speaks to me. I really dont care for the form anymore. The theater is it, and that means that the theater in Chicago is it, because I have no interest in doing theater anywhere else.

and about the audience:  I always find its less fun once the audience shows up, Petersen says, grinning. Ive always just wanted to do the work.
